We just had an author in on Wednesday, and one last Friday to our school, and they had their picture books on power point- ta da- everyone could see them! Is this an option for you? This in turn kept their hands free, and one author even did most of her talk through her power point presentation - meaning, she had put herself in it, scripted it out , and made a small "movie" out of it. After the power point, she put on her microphone and addressed the kids and had a lot of fun with them, but again, hands free. See what you think!Beth Coultonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17725084047646351485noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3647218177948670695.post-52063987167601920832009-03-06T01:04:00.000-05:002009-03-06T01:04:00.000-05:00How did it go? But as for the kids - they'll love you!

One thing I usually do for a school visit is bring a little something for the kids, Like a whole bunch of funky monkey erasers or neon pencil grips or something like that. They're fairly cheap (at Staples, etc.) and it gets the kids in your pocket from the get-go!

Best of luck and enjoy the moment!

(And also, I am whistle impaired, too.)RJ Clarkenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03018296461199649445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3647218177948670695.post-51729264138468699232009-03-04T20:57:00.000-05:002009-03-04T20:57:00.000-05:00I am whistling impaired too!I am whistling impaired too!Corey Schwartzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03883689227283545602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3647218177948670695.post-34429905161132189052009-03-04T20:47:00.000-05:002009-03-04T20:47:00.000-05:00I have a feeling you'll do awesome!!
