It's Query Tracker's Fault

My husband wants to know why I got nothing done yesterday. I blame it on Query Tracker. Is it my fault that they ran an Anagram Contest to celebrate their second anniversary and I had to spend most of the morning and the afternoon deciphering 15 writing and agent related anagrams? I got 13 of them fairly easily, but the longer I spent on the last two, the more I had to continue. I couldn't just give up, because then I wouldn't have been eligible for the prizes. Yeesh! What a waste of 10 hours that would have been!

Just think of all the brain-power gained from that exercise, though! :-) I'm the same way ... I start something like that, and I can't stop until I get all of them ... no matter how long it takes!

Ha! Hopefully you'll win a fabulous prize out of the deal. I went through a big sudoku phase a few years ago. Talk about a waste of time!

Yes, I have spent (not wasted, right :D) a few hours on querytracker this week, too. Darn those contests and that really enticing prize of a website!!!

Glad I am not the only one with an obsessive personality :)

Okay, you sound like me with the word puzzles. Hope you win a prize. Sounds like you earned one!

Lol, I hope you win! I tried to do those, but gave up after I realized I am not good at anagrams.

Lila--I did the obsessive sudoku thing for a while, too. I think I lost a good six months of my life.

My daughter is great at anagrams (she's eight). Whenever we ride in the car, she starts yelling them out. One time I was so amazed at one she thought of off the top of her head (she doesn't write them down--just comes up with them), I stopped the car and got out and hugged her.

Soooo . . . if you ever get stuck again, give me a call and I'll put Sallie on it. Could've saved you a good six hours, I'll bet.

BTW, I have no idea where she gets this talent. I cannot do them. At all.
