Helpless

Groundhog says, "Early spring is coming."   Why do I find that so hard to believe?

Maybe because there's three feet of snow on my deck?

We had a power outage for a few hours today and I realized how helpless I am without electricity.

ME:  It's getting cold in the house.  Maybe I'll call a friend and see if I can bring the kids over... D'oh!  All my phone numbers are in Outlook.

ME: (10 minutes later)  Brrr, I know.. I'll just get in the car and drive someplace warm like Starbucks.  Double d'oh!!!  I don't know how to manually open the garage door!

(Yes, for someone who did great on the SATs, I pretty much have no life skills)

Oh, Groundhog, please be right!

Yep! I choked on my toothpaste when I heard that on the radio this morning. I'm not convinced. :-)

You're so funny Corey! I hope that groundhog is right. And cute kids, BTW.

I thought the same thing today when the wind about blowed me over. It's frigid! Glad you got your power back on though :)

Solvang Sherrie doesn't know what she's saying! I've been stuck inside my garage before too. I should say that I've since figured out the manual option but ...er...I can't.

Whoa! That is a HUGE snowman.

Good luck up there. We've got all kinds of weird weather down here--sixty degrees yesterday, twenty-seven today. Three feet of snow could be next ...

Corey, first on your list of things to learn should be how to manually open the garage door! :-)

Stay warm. Spring will come!

Cute snowman, by the way.

Over at my blog, Punxsutawney Phyllis insists that SPRING WILL COME! There was absolutely no possible way, by any stretch of the most vivid imagination, for her to see her shadow in the weather that was yesterday! If spring doesn't come early it i not due to groundhog error!! :)

Although an early spring would be nice, and much welcomed, I'm not holding my breath. I don't want to turn all blue and pass out! LOL

Cute kids!

Isn't it crazy that THIS year, the year with 20 feet of snow, is the year he finally declares an early spring??!?

Is there a PB in there somewhere?

Your kidlets look so BIG in this picture. WOW!

Isn't it amazing how dependent we are on electricity?! And running water! Hopefully, you'll get some nicer weather soon!
