Spring has Sprung- MAPLE Giveaway!

We are only 13 hours out of winter and... I already feel a lighter spring in my step!   So, I decided to celebrate.  Remember, how I accidentally pre-ordered MAPLE twice?

Well, I am giving away my duplicate copy of this charming book by Lori Nichols!   Just leave a comment to enter.

For a second entry, comment on my Facebook post.

FROM THE PUBLISHER

When Maple is tiny, her parents plant a maple tree in her honor.  She and her tree grow up together, and even though a tree doesn't always make an ideal playmate, it doesn't mind when Maple is in the mood to be loud--- which is often.  Then Maple becomes a big sister, and finds that babies have their loud days, too. Fortunately, Maple and her beloved tree know just what the baby needs.

Winner will be chosen, Sunday, March 23rd at 8:00 PM EST.

Me? I get to be the first? Woo hoo!

I love MAPLE. I bought it for my little niece. It was so hard to give away...I'd love my own copy!

Thanks for your giveaway Corey!

I was hoping to get the maple tree during the give-a-way, but logistically that's imposable, so the book would be the next best thing. Wait! Even better! Thanks for paying it forward.

Ooh, sweet book! Please enter me! (I'm in Italy, but the book would go to someone in the US.) Thank you!

Winning Maple would be a sweet "treet";)
Thanks for the opportunity.

This has been my thought process since you first posted about accidentally ordering two copies of MAPLE: "Oh, it must be good if she ordered two copies!" [one day later] "I should get that book!" [one week later] "There was a thing about a tree?" [three days after that] "Was I supposed to do something?" So I am entering this contest. Since I can't remember to get the book otherwise.

It looks lovely. If I read it to my kids, will it drive the snow away? Go away snow!

I borrowed the book from the library and thought it was as sweet as maple syrup. Would love to give this book to my little cousin.

I have a copy on order, but would love to win another to give to a local school (plus, that would allow me to read it to a class!).

You've been the first to make me aware of this book...back when you said you ordered two. But I too had forgotten to look for it. Would love to own a copy, as a Maple on my garden's edge planted 11 years ago is now a lovely shade tree. Bethany likes me to put her up in it.

I love Maple syrup and we had a maple in our garden before the fires. My Canadian friend tells me it is less expensive to purchase maple syrup here in oz than when she went home for a holiday. I would love to won a copy of this lovely little book. :)

Hi Corey...would love to own a copy of Maple...it sounds adorable...and 40 years ago, I wrote a draft (even made a dummy) of a story called The Maple Tree (we had 3 huge maples in our front yard and even tapped them and made syrup)...if I'd known what I was doing back then (as opposed to now...when I know at least a little bit), I would have pursued it and gotten it out there. Thanks for hosting the giveaway and offering such a great book!
