I'm So Excited and I Just Can't Hide It!

Remember that song by the Pointer Sisters?

I am WAY too excited about my new PB manuscript. I already have the dedication written in my head. Very BAD. It can only lead to disappointment to be convinced that I have a surefire winner on my hands.

I am so completely lost in my fantasy that I can't concentrate on anything else. HELP! I have got to rein myself in.

No way! You should ride out this confidence--help it to help you write the winner you know you have!

Don't rein in! Go with that excitement and let it push you to something great!

And I have to laugh...I was composing my thank you list for a particular novel the other day...wishful thinking is GOOD for the soul :)

Man, I love new book highs. Keep the dreams going. The best time to dream big is before anybody can bring you back to earth with a reality check. And then there are those times that you get to stay up there. So fly away!

Do not ever rein in your enthusiasm! Let it have full reign instead!

Uh huh!

It's what gives you incentive and the encouragement to keep doing what you're doing!

And in my book (so to speak),that's a very good thing!

Thanks, everybody! I've got to just polish it up and send it out.
